Hot Melt drill for High-Strength Threaded Connections

In thin sheets/pipes, it directly forms a bushing with a wall thickness 3–4 times the original workpiece thickness.The pre-hole for threading could be Inch Size and Metric size.

Threads can then be tapped into this bushing. This replaces traditional methods like welded nuts or riveted nuts, and the connection strength can even exceed that of Grade 8.8 bolts.

• Round/Collared Type (Standard) : After processing, a raised collar/bushing is formed on the workpiece surface by the extruded base material.

  This collar can increase strength, serve as a sealing structure, or be used as a seat for washers/nuts.

• Flat Type (Counterbored/Flush Type) : While forming the bushing, this type removes the raised collar via a Cutting action,

  resulting in a flush surface. It is suitable for applications where surface flatness is required.
