The basic operating procedure is as follows:
Drill: Select a drill bit of the appropriate diameter and drill a pilot hole in the center of the broken screw.

Rotate Out: Use a wrench or tap wrench to grip the square head of the extractor and rotate it counterclockwise to remove the broken screw.
